I work with Woodwell Climate’s supporters, leadership team, and researchers to build philanthropic partnerships that drive the Center’s most essential initiatives. Philanthropy is the foundation of Woodwell’s impact-based research and my goal is to inspire investments and meaningful relationships that advance the future of innovative climate science and solutions.
I bring a deep knowledge of research institutions and broad experience building collaborations to fuel science and social science research ecosystems. Most recently, I led fundraising initiatives and operations for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I also worked in MIT’s Office of Foundation Relations to support programs in the social sciences, arts, science communications, and humanities. Earlier in my career, I served as an assistant professor of history at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where I led the Hellenic Studies Program, and was a Fulbright Fellow to Cyprus.
Outside of work, I am most often found cycling the roads and walking the trails of Thoreau country in Concord and Lincoln, MA, or endlessly working on my family’s 1757 house.
