I harness my extensive expertise in logistics management and event coordination to drive impactful climate initiatives. I work closely with donors, staff, and stakeholders, and am committed to building relationships in support of the Woodwell Climate’s mission to address climate change through science and research.
With a robust background in overseeing the Center’s participation in large-scale events such as the Conference of the Parties (COP) and Climate Week, I have developed a keen ability to navigate the complexities of international gatherings, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication among diverse stakeholders.
I have 30 years of event management experience, most recently as the Manager of Events and Constituent Relations at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole. I was also instrumental in the Machrihanish Dunes project, a restoration project that re-opened two historic hotels and a golf course in Scotland. The course is the only one created on a Site of Special Scientific Interest and it received the Golf Environmental Organization certification for creating and maintaining a sustainable agenda.
I live with my husband, two daughters, and dog Wilbur. I enjoy boating in the summer and skiing in the winter.
