Grace Lochhead develops and implements practices and policies for the People & Culture department, supporting Woodwell Climate’s mission, core values, and strategic plan. She strives to create an organizational environment that enables efficiency for Center staff working on the forefront of critical science and research.
Before joining Woodwell Climate, Lochhead spent a majority of her career working in banking. She is experienced in aligning people strategy to business priorities, and is excited to be bringing her expertise in organizational design, leadership development, employee engagement, workforce planning, and analytics to a mission-driven organization focused on making impactful change.
Lochhead believes climate is a critical area of focus for the future of our world, and is especially proud to be contributing her skills and career to making a better future for her sons. She grew up in Massachusetts, and lives in the area with her husband, 3 boys, and 2 dogs. She enjoys running, reading, and spending time at her kids’ various activities, including school plays, swim meets, and a variety of sports.
