I work closely with the President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Scientific Officer to support Woodwell Climate’s programs, initiatives, and daily operations. I also manage Board relations and lead the planning and execution of Board meetings and events.
For me, working at Woodwell Climate is like coming full circle. I have a formal education grounded in science, decades of nonprofit management experience, and an appreciation for the necessity of effective communications and public engagement.
I came to Woodwell Climate from the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL), where I spent more than 20 years in the Communications department. As a member of MBL’s senior management, I played a key role in organizational planning and implementing operational efficiencies between scientific and administrative departments.
I earned a degree in environmental science & biology at Allegheny College. I have conducted field research at Harvard Forest in central Massachusetts and in the salt marshes of North Carolina.
Along with my husband and three kids, I enjoy the outdoors—my family spends as much time as we can on and near the ocean.
