I manage the Foundation Relations team, building relationships with foundations, corporations, and other institutional donors. In my role, I help with the planning, organization, and execution of a comprehensive program to expand private gifts and grant support. Building collaborations with partners is an important aspect of this job. I work closely with scientific and finance staff to streamline the grants process.
I am proud to have helped to facilitate Permafrost Pathways’ $41M award through the TED Audacious Project. I have more than 25 years of development and management experience, serving as the Senior Manager of Foundation and Corporate Giving at Manomet, Inc. before joining Woodwell Climate. I also spent 10 years in environmental consulting focusing on environmental compliance audits. I hold a B.S. in Human Ecology from Rutgers University and an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on nonprofit management and environmental education, from Lesley University. I enjoy the outdoors and spend as much time as possible hiking, biking, or snowshoeing.
