I work on implementation of the Arctic Great Rivers Observatory (Arctic-GRO) project. I was born and raised in the Siberian town of Zhigansk on the Lena River, which is part of the Arctic GRO project. I have been involved with Woodwell Climate Research Center on various aspects of Arctic GRO as well as the Polaris Project since 2003.
I hold a degree in world economics from North-Eastern Federal University in Russia and a M.Sc. in climate science and policy from Teri University in New Delhi, India.
