Aaron Dysart

  • Art-Science Fellow

Aaron Dysart is a sculptor fascinated with the role humans play in the systems of nature and often focuses on the intersection of the built and non-built environment.

This intersection is often seen as adversarial, or at best is framed in terms of stewardship, but upon investigation he found that implied distinctions prove to be as permeable and fluid as they are compelling. Over the years he has indulged this fascination through a study of objects and material, interventions and light, always driven by the desire to gain understanding as a small part of an all-engulfing system.
