Parents inspired by their children
Beth O’Connor and Jonathan Chatinover graciously made a leadership annual fund gift – their first to Woodwell Climate Research Center – after they were inspired by the voice of their children.
Beth and Jonathan live on Martha’s Vineyard and have two children: Keith and Claire. Keith is a Middlebury College student and Duke’s County Commissioner, and Claire is a middle school science teacher in Brooklyn. Both fiercely committed to finding solutions for climate change.
The family meets over the holidays to decide which organizations they feel it is important to support. This year, Keith brought Woodwell Climate Research Center to the table. He recognized the critical role Woodwell Climate had played in the passage of a climate crisis resolution by the Martha’s Vineyard Commission. The rest of the family was inspired to join in and support.
Thank you O’Connor and Chatinover family and welcome to the Woodwell Climate community.
