I work with data from Howland Research Forest, investigating trends in methane flux. I am using geospatial analysis to answer questions about the forest’s methane budget and how it is impacted by other environmental factors. This research aims to deepen our understanding of both spatial and temporal patterns in methane flux.
I am currently an undergraduate at Montana State University studying Environmental Science and Computer Science. My background is in geospatial analysis, and I am excited for the opportunity in this role to apply my existing skills while also learning new ones. I look forward to pursuing further research in environmental science, especially with GIS (geographic information systems) applications.
In my time outside of school and work, I enjoy skiing and backpacking—activities that contribute significantly to my environmental passion as well as my academic and career aspirations.
