Mobilizing Finance and Science: Nature-Based Climate Solutions for the Brazilian Amazon

Woodwell Climate scientists, alongside panelists from Brazil’s leading agricultural sectors, will outline the challenges posed by climate change to crop productivity and biomass in tropical forests. They will discuss the obstacles to achieving sustainable production in Brazil and highlight case studies that demonstrate the critical need for private sector involvement in creating value through conservation. To conclude the event, ECCON and Woodwell Climate will present potential solutions that could help bridge this gap—PES Carbonflor and the Landscape Capital Index.
