I assist the Development team with gift processing, donor acknowledgement, and fundraising efforts. I am motivated by my desire to understand and maintain the complex and reciprocal relationship between humans and the natural world.
Prior to joining Woodwell Climate, I wrote and presented policy briefings on the Wildlife Corridor Conservation Act in my role as Environmental Policy Intern at the Northcoast Environmental Center. For me, that experience emphasized the importance of building community to implement just and meaningful change. I earned my B.A. in environmental studies from Humboldt State University, concentrating in ecology and conservation science.
I moved to the New England area from Northern California and I love exploring the area either on my motorcycle, or with my dog, Danny.
