I sample rivers, measure their discharge, and assist with sample analysis for Cape Cod Rivers Observatory (CCRO).
Motivated by my passion about climate change, I spent 6 years as a CCRO volunteer, collecting water samples every week. I worked as a nurse practitioner for 8 years, and as a nurse for 23 years, and appreciate the connection between river health and public health. I believe that getting involved locally is key to combating the climate crisis.
