Rivers have stories to tell about the ecosystems around them and the impacts of a changing climate, but those stories are only ever known if samples are collected and analyzed. That has motivated Dr. Max Holmes’ work around the globe – from the Arctic to the Congo, and right in his backyard on Cape Cod. Hear what he’s learned from years of observing rivers, and about a new effort, Science on the Fly, which is engaging the fly fishing community in the research. A panel discussion will follow the presentation.
