Anya Suslova works on implementation of the Arctic Great Rivers Observatory (Arctic-GRO) project. She was born and raised in the Siberian town of Zhigansk on the Lena River, which is part of the Arctic GRO project. She has been involved with Woodwell Climate Research Center on various aspects of Arctic GRO as well as the Polaris Project since 2003.
Suslova holds a Diploma in World Economics from North-Eastern Federal University in Russia and a M.Sc. in Climate Science and Policy from Teri University in New Delhi.
